Preparations for big GameFi mass adoption
GameFi is preparing for a major widespread usage with more and more players willing to transit towards the lucrative P2E gaming syle. We are just at the start of this and NFT gaming has already generated 2,32 billion dollars just in Q3 of 2021 alone. 86% out of the 300 surveyed companies worldwide believe that blockchain gaming will predominantly outpace traditional gaming.

Other reasons why GameFi is considered to be the future is due to the fact that statistics are clearly showing that this industry is mostly used, played and interacted among the younger generations. As results speak for themselves, we see that the majority age group involved into GameFi is between 25 and 34 years old. Interestingly enough, Europe and Asia are leading the way as the main users of blockchain gaming.

Looking more specifically, there have been other positive news recently by large companies that indicate further acceleration and approval towards the GameFi mass adoption.
200 million USD invested by Goldman Sachs backed company
Voodoo, known as the French mobile game developer is ready to invest 200 million USD into blockchain gaming. The reason why the firm has decided to pursue this investment is due to the fact that NFTs had been an incredible catalyst for the GameFi sector to flourish and thus gained lots of attention from many large companies.
🎮 Xbox game ‘Stalker 2’ is integrating NFTs
The video game will enable players to become an NPC in-game. The developers have partnered up with Dmarket to auction the NFT, which will go on sale in February 2022. This shows Stalker 2 as an example of how big console games are starting to acquire NFTs as part of the growth strategy.
More big partnerships coming for IMX
In one of our previous issues we have discussed the greatness of Immutable X (IMX) as the leading Layer 2 Ethereum solution to become carbon neutral, no gas fees and very high transaction per second relevant for its scalability (check here).
Because of its incredible benefits, it caught even more attention and recently built up new partnerships.
Enjin (ENJ) - NFT currency for Twitch and Acknoledger
Twitch is currently known as the platform where community members can play some sorts of games and share emoticons that are only available in the Twitch ecosystem. Although it might not sound exciting at first, it is important to mention the fact that Twitch has 140 million active users in 2021.
The platform has now expanded with options to create special branded NFTs that can be used in various games and applications. That is a good sign for Enjin, where a large volume of active users can now interact with the Enjin ecosystem.
Another firm Enjin has teamed up with is Acknoledger, a gateway where allows users to educate and make more informed decisions about investing into NFTs.
With the power to track, commercialize and release NFTs across different metaverses, it is no surprise that Acknoledger had the top 5 presales on Seedify.

Netvrk is working hard on the functionality aspect of the metaverse. It plans to do so with the collaboration of Metabrands and EQIFi.
Metabrands is a DAO that provides instant exposure and helps facilitating cryptocurrency transactions to the best-performing NFTs, play-to-earn models, and player-owned economies in the metaverse. The agreement will raise awareness of both projects and connect the Gateway to Netvrk's metaverse, providing additional use and benefits to both projects' token holders.
🏧 EQUIFi will be responsible to bring banking possibilities in the Netvrk’s metaverse. Users will be able to have crypto credit cards and other DeFi features such as fixed and variable rates, yield farming and interest rate swaps.
📈 Solana constantly upgrading and gaining more attention by celebrities
After the first $ 100 million USD investment with FTX in November, Solana Ventures has decided to lead another funding initiative worth $ 150 million USD for Web 3 game builders on Solana. This act will help Solana to further boost into the growing field of GameFi.
As far as NFTs are concerned, Nansen has decided to raise $ 75 million USD for improving NFT investor tools on Solana and increase the number of dashboard options available to customers to track activities such as yield farming and NFTs.
Solana also got involved with Heir, a consumer based platform focused on athletes interacting with fans through NFTs. The technology will be used to shape the future of athlete branding. Michael Jordan, the great basketball icon has also taken part of the $ 10 million USD investment fund with Heir.
