Ethereum Metaverse Game The Sandbox to Launch LAND Sale With Playboy, Tony Hawk, Snoop Dogg
The Sandbox, an Ethereum-based metaverse game, will launch its three-part LAND sale on Thursday in association with well-known brands including Tony Hawk, Snoop Dog, and Playboy.
California Dreamin', the first wave of the sale, which features "California-themed brands including Playboy and The Marathon," debuts on November 24.
Everseed Latest Demo Includes New Companion
During Everseed's latest demo, players will have the chance to take on eight encounters, two new plant types, and a new companion. This new pet is called Jerbaroo, and his attack wave moves him around as it strikes the opponent. He can attack from two hexes away, and his Growl ability has increased by eight seconds.
Deloitte: Metaverse Could Add $1.4 Trillion a Year to Asia's GDP
According to Deloitte, the metaverse is a trillion-dollar opportunity in Asia. The metaverse is no longer science fiction. Millions of people are already using early metaverse platforms. Numerous users in Asia already use virtual platforms like Roblox, Decentraland, Fortnite, Asia's own Sandbox, and Zepeto for gaming, chatting, attending concerts, and shopping.
Shiba Inu Gets Invite From WEF To Talk About Metaverse
The Shiba Inu community is now holding an online vote to decide whether the project will accept the World Economic Forum's (WEF) offer to engage with them on establishing a Global Metaverse Policy.
Over 18,000 votes have already been submitted in the poll being conducted by SHIB creator Shytoshi Kusama via Twitter as of the time of this writing, and more than 60% of respondents are in favor of accepting the offer for a partnership with WEF.
