Fortnite creator Epic Games has backed a new tech startup, Hadeans, with a $30 million Series A funding round. The company is developing new real-time 3D social experiences and will continue to publish Fortnite across multiple platforms.
NFL Patriots Partner With Web3 Blockchain Firm Chain, CEO Buys Patriots.eth for $99,000
Blockchain infrastructure firm Chain has a new sponsorship deal with the New England Patriots and New England Revolution.
In addition, Chain CEO buys the Ethereum Name Service (ENS) domain Patriots.eth. ENS domains can also be traded as non-fungible tokens to marketplaces such as OpenSea.
Zilliqa to Launch Web3 Games Console In Early 2023
Zilliqa is looking to break into the gaming industry by releasing a Web3 gaming console in early 2023. The company hopes to compete with Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo in this new market, but hasn't revealed any specifics yet.
The blockchain firm also mentioned that players will be able to mine ZIL tokens, which they believe would lead to increasing decentralisation of the Zilliqa blockchain by expanding the number of miners worldwide.
FAKE Gotchis and NFT Art Coming to Aavegotchi
A community-driven art project called FAKE Gotchis is bringing more community engagement to the Aavegotchi experience. Besides art creation, Aavegotchi owners will be able to host their own art galleries and events.
This update shows that the community elements have grown stronger within the Aavegotchi’s ecosystem. Besides, the firm is a true representation of gameFi, with more than 5 ways of earning crypto.
