Solana-based gaming platform Arcade2Earn raises $3.2 million: Exclusive
The Solana-based gaming platform Arcade2-Earn has raised $3.2 million in an initial coin offering (ICO) to fund its expansion into the blockchain gaming market. The seed funding was led by Crypto.com with KuCoin labs, Shima Capital and GSR joining the round.
The company said it plans to launch a demo of the platform later this year and will also release its own token to the public. One of the most impressive features Arcade2-Earn has is its ‘mission pools’, meaning that users do not need to own NFTs in order to keep earning rewards. The company is currently employing about 20 people, including its six co-founders. It has no immediate plans to expand its workforce.
Popular football anime Captain Tsubasa becomes a blockchain game
The world of Captain Tsubasa is set to take a huge leap into the world of blockchain gaming. The football-themed manga has spawned several adaptations, including video games and animated TV shows.
The game will allow players to create their own unique football themed experiences through virtual items and experiences.
When playing versus other players, items can be collected and then later exchanged for rewards such as new characters as NFTs. Players can also train their own NFTs using the Tsubasauts tokens, which can be earned by playing the story mode of the game. Captain Tsubasa Rivals is expected to be available to the public by the end of 2022.
Joyride Games have announced that a new game 'Carrom Blitz' will be coming soon to Flow
Joyride Games has just announced a few days ago the new game known as Carrom Blitz will be coming soon to Flow Blockchain. Casual competitive games has brought a lot success to Joyride Games.
Trickshot Blitz, another game from the Joyride family has seen a significant increase in its use cases this week, with a 213% growth in users, 115% in transactions and 90% in volume.
That is why Joyride Games had the need to create Carrom Blitz, in order to give more options to the casual gamer segment.
It is also interesting to see that more than half of the searches related to Joyride Games come from South and South East Asia. Therefore, it comes with no surprise that the company has announced a new game suitable to the same broad market.
